Every round has an open question, for example “Name a topping on a pizza.” Everyone writes a short answer of at most 30 characters in secret. Then all answers lie on the table as slips. The game already puts equal answers on stacks.
How are points counted?
You get one point for every other person with the same answer. If three slips are on a stack, each of the three gets two points. An answer nobody else has earns nothing. The largest stack is the majority. The highest total after the last round wins.
Which answers does the game combine by itself?
Upper and lower case, spaces and punctuation do not matter, and ä counts as ae, ß as ss. An article at the start is ignored, so “the cat” and “cat” are the same. For words of 5 letters or more, one typo is overlooked too.
What if “beer” and “lager” should count as the same?
You decide that at the table. On the table device the host taps the slip and then the stack it belongs to. “Take out” puts a slip back on a stack of its own. Phones show the stacks live. When everyone agrees, the host taps “Score”.
Does everyone need a phone?
No. Pass one device around and tap “Write answer” next to your name while the others look away. Players with their own phone can join by invitation link or QR code. The host can play too.
How long does a game take?
Choose 5, 8 or 10 rounds, with about two minutes per round. Play with 3–12 people.
