How it works
Each row is a round, each column a player. Tap a box to open the keypad. A new row appears once every player has an entry for the current round. The top row shows each player's total, and the crown marks the leader.
Setting the rules
| Setting | Effect | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Target score | game ends after the round in which someone reaches it | play to 500 |
| Number of rounds | game ends after the last round | exactly 10 rounds |
| Lowest score wins | the smallest total leads | penalty point games |
A target and lowest-score-wins can be combined. That fits games like Hearts: the first player to reach 100 penalty points ends the game, and the lowest total wins.
FAQ
Which games does the score keeper work for?
Any game in which players gain or lose points at the end of each round, such as Rummy, Canasta, Hearts or Crazy Eights with penalty points. Some games have their own score sheet with matching rules and calculators.
Can I enter negative points?
Yes. The ± key on the keypad switches the sign. Totals update automatically.
How does a game end?
By default the sheet runs for as long as you like. With a target score, the game ends after the round in which a player reaches it. With a fixed number of rounds, it ends after the last round. Set both under "Players and rules".
What if the lowest score wins?
Turn on "Lowest score wins". The crown and the final ranking follow that setting.
Can I fix a mistake?
Yes. Tap a filled box to open it again, then change or clear the value. "Undo" reverts the last entry.
Is my game saved?
Yes. The game stays saved in your browser. There is no account and nothing is sent to a server.
